Ingredients
- Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue Sauce
- 1800g ground beef
- Cheddar cheese cut into thick slabs
- 4 brioche buns, split, toasted
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 3 tomatoes
- 8 cooked onion rings
Method
- Step 1
Heat grill to high. - Step 2
Divide beef into 8 equal sections, and gently form each section into a patty. - Step 3
Place cheese slab on top of 4 patties. Cover with remaining patties and form around cheese slabs. - Step 4
Make an indentation at the top of the patty with your thumb, make sure the cheese is fully covered with beef on top and bottom. - Step 5
Place burgers on grill over high heat until both sides and seared, flipping once about 4-6 minutes each side, or until your desired level of cooking. - Step 6
To build burgers, spread barbecue sauce on both sides of the toasted brioche bun - Step 7
Place lettuce and tomatoes on the bottom bun. - Step 8
Top with burger and onion rings. - Step 9
Place top bun and serve with a side of your choice.
