Ingredients

  • Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue Sauce
  • 1800g ground beef
  • Cheddar cheese cut into thick slabs
  • 4 brioche buns, split, toasted
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 8 cooked onion rings

Method

  • Step 1
    Heat grill to high.
  • Step 2
    Divide beef into 8 equal sections, and gently form each section into a patty.
  • Step 3
    Place cheese slab on top of 4 patties. Cover with remaining patties and form around cheese slabs.
  • Step 4
    Make an indentation at the top of the patty with your thumb, make sure the cheese is fully covered with beef on top and bottom.
  • Step 5
    Place burgers on grill over high heat until both sides and seared, flipping once about 4-6 minutes each side, or until your desired level of cooking.
  • Step 6
    To build burgers, spread barbecue sauce on both sides of the toasted brioche bun
  • Step 7
    Place lettuce and tomatoes on the bottom bun.
  • Step 8
    Top with burger and onion rings.
  • Step 9
    Place top bun and serve with a side of your choice.
