Ingredients
- Half sweet onion, diced
- Half red bell pepper, diced
- 120ml bourbon
- Sweet Baby Ray's Honey Barbecue Sauce
- Four filets of beef tenderloin
Method
- Step 1
In a small saucepan over medium heat, sauté onions and peppers in butter until soft. Add bourbon and Sweet Baby Ray's Honey Barbecue Sauce, simmer 2-3 minutes. - Step 2
Place filets of beef in a small shallow pan, add bourbon BBQ and marinate in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours. - Step 3
Remove filets from container and preheat grill. - Step 4
Pour bourbon BBQ sauce in a small saucepan and bring to boil, then reduce to simmer. Place beef on the grill and baste with sauce until cooked. - Step 5
Top remainder of sauce on the filets. - Step 6
(This recipe can be made using any good cut of meat or chicken or pork loin).
